The past 30 of January, 18 Galician municipalities, Castrelo do Val included, signed an agreement for their effective incorporation to the Agency of Protection of the City-planning Legality of Galicia in the occasion of guarding by the rational use of the ground.

With this formal act, the Municipality of Castrelo do Val delegates of voluntary form in the Agency its municipal competitions of inspection, supervision, sanction and reestablishment of the city-planning legality respect of works and uses of the ground that if they make in rustic ground, in urbanizeable ground while the corresponding partial plan or of return is not approved, as well as in the scope of the delimited rural villages.

In the signatory municipalities figures other two of our zone: Vilardevós e Verín.
